Our label designs are hand-made by hunsband and wife combo Dan and Jessie Marioni through a lino-cut printmaking process. Essentially, they're inking and printing hand-carved stamps to be scanned and printed for each label. Jessie, a professional tattoo artist (see Rosa Grande Tattoo in Sonoma) designs the labels and Dan carves them. They wait to taste through wines after fermentation to get a sense of the spirit and character of the wine and thats what ends up on the bottle.
