The O'Connor Vineyard was planted in 2011 by Sonoma Mtn Winery. It's just over one acre on Sonoma Mtn and has a couple rows of Chardonnay. It has never seen chemicals.
Made at the Coturri Winery. FYB pick, destemmed, in open top fermenters. Lighter manual punchdowns until dry and pressed off to puncheon and burgundy barrels.
We always pick the entire vineyard together (with the chardonnay) and co ferment them, stemmed until dry. This produces a light chardonnay tannin in the Pinot that is unique to this cuvée.
