Planted in 1980, Rita’s vineyard is a small family field blend vineyard that Dan and friends tend to. It’s sort of a “ecology project” where we have been rebuilding the top soil and vine health for 3 years. by implementing cover crops, compost and organic sprays we have built up resilience to almost a no spray program.
